May 27, 2001    

On May 27, 2001, Brian Stertz and I tracked supercells and the derecho from near Ford, Kansas to near Woodward, Oklahoma.  We observed large hail, several gustnadoes, 70mph straight-line wind, damage to trees, power poles as well as doing heavy damage to buildings and mobile homes.
