Texas Panhandle

Long-Lived Supercell, High Winds, Hail, Funnel Clouds
Tornado Warnings, Night Tornado

Spent the night in Amarillo, Texas after a chase bust on May 28, 2001.  Spent the day waiting for the convection to fire.  Playing the guessing game for most of the day.  We started north and then back south.  Ended up on a Supercell south of Amarillo and stayed with it all the way till dark to the Oklahoma border.
